
Suzuki opens a new era: e-Access is presented – the first electric scooter from the legendary brand
Suzuki has unveiled a fully electric scooter. This is the e-Access, intended primarily for the Indian market. The two-wheeler debuted at the local Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The manufacturer has not yet specified when sales of the Suzuki e-Access will begin. However, the technical characteristics of the scooter are known. The 5,5 hp engine allows acceleration to 71 km/h.
The scooter is equipped with a 3,07 kWh battery. The range is up to 95 km/h. And these are the figures in real conditions, not the figures obtained when driving at low speed on flat terrain.

Externally, the Suzuki e-Access is simple and does not differ from its gasoline "brothers". The model combines the best features of a modern city scooter. The electric scooter has a small rectangular headlight, and the turn signals are integrated into the lower part of the front fascia.
The side plastic is streamlined, without any sharp angles. The design clearly shows a retro style. Although, the cast wheel disks stand out a little. For ease of parking and maintenance, the scooter is equipped not only with a side stand, but also with a central stand.
The model is presented in five color variations. Among them are three matte shades of metallic type and two shiny pearlescent ones. The first ones are black, red and gray. The second ones are white and green.
The battery is hidden in the scooter frame. Due to this, the manufacturer solved two problems at once. Firstly, it protected the battery from possible damage. Secondly, it is located low, shifting the center of gravity in this direction. As a result, the Suzuki e-Access turned out to be stable.
There is also data on charging the running battery. It can be filled to 100% in 6 hours 42 minutes. For this, you will need a regular "home" socket. The charger will be included with the electric scooter. If you connect to a special station, the process will take 2 hours 12 minutes.

But the manufacturer recommends keeping the battery in the range of 20 to 80%. This can significantly extend its life cycle.
Suzuki e-Access can move in three modes - standard, economical and sport. The model even has a reverse gear, which is unusual for such equipment. The on-board computer can be integrated with almost any smartphone.
After the start of sales, Suzuki e-Access will be available for order in Russia. If it is really necessary, it will be delivered under the parallel import program.
