"DST-Ural" showed a prototype of a new Russian tractor
Russian manufacturer of specialized equipment DST-Ural presented to the public a prototype of a new agricultural tractor FT-741. It promises to be part of the promising FT-7 series.
According to the information on the company's official website, the new product is designed to perform a wide range of energy-intensive agricultural tasks. These include primary and pre-sowing soil cultivation, sowing grain crops, transport and harvesting work.
The FT-741 received a YaMZ-652 diesel engine with a volume of 6,65 liters and a power of 412 hp. By introducing a hydrostatic transmission with electronic control, engineers managed to reduce fuel consumption.

The tractor is equipped with an electronic-hydraulic control system, which significantly increases the accuracy of the operator's work.
The chassis of the equipment is represented by a carriage design with supporting rollers and balancer shock absorption. The track is made of rubber with metal reinforcement for greater reliability and durability.
The key advantage of the FT-741 is its ease of control and operation. The tractor cabin has a spring-loaded structure and is equipped with a seat with mechanical suspension. Due to this, the operator will be comfortable even during long work shifts.
The fuel tank capacity is 850 liters, and the hydraulic system includes 90 and 160 liter tanks for the transmission and work equipment, respectively.
The FT-741 stands out for its versatility: the tractor is capable of performing tasks as part of wide-grip units and high-performance harvesting complexes. The attachment is supported by a three-point system of the fourth category, and the hydraulic pump with a capacity of 280 liters per minute operates at a maximum pressure of 20 MPa.

The length of the tractor in the working position reaches 7350 mm, the width is 3080 mm, and the height is 3680 mm. The weight is 19 tons. The model will replace the earlier FT80 in the DST-Ural catalog, which faced criticism for its poor adaptation to field conditions.
