Exports of aircraft components from Russia to the US have increased significantly

It has become known that the United States has significantly increased imports of components for the aviation industry from our country. This information, obtained on the basis of reports from the American customs service, was shared RIA News.


The maximum "growth", as noted, occurred at the end of last year, namely in November. This month became a record for the volume of purchases since February 2022, which in monetary terms amounted to more than 7,5 million dollars. If we compare this figure with the year before last, the amount increased by 1,6 times. In total, in less than 2024, the United States purchased spare parts from Russia for aircraft by $31,4 million.


As for the range of imported parts, the "lion's share" is for the chassis and its elements. The order also includes other parts for aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.

For comparison, in the same November, Great Britain supplied the US with components worth over $280 million, France – $195 million, and Canada – $146 million.
