Nissan Dongfeng Z9 Pickup Officially Unveiled to the Public

Nissan Dongfeng Z9 is a frame pickup with a double-row cabin. It is created on the Global Off-road Platforms platform. This is a full-fledged station wagon that can be used in different roles.

A huge pickup truck will be relevant in the city, because it looks brutal and luxurious. In rural areas, such SUVs are also always welcome. You can use Nissan Dongfeng Z9 for work.

The dimensions of the pickup are impressive – its length, width and height are 5,52 x 1,96 x 1,95 meters. The ground clearance is 270 mm. The cargo area is also large – 1,52 by 1,6 m.

The design of the Nissan Dongfeng Z9 is in a fashionable square style. The headlights form the letter "Z". The massive radiator grille sparkles with chrome. The bumpers have "skirts" made of unpainted plastic, which is not afraid of small impacts. The material does not break, but bends, after which it takes its original shape.

The interior is as square as the pickup bed. The dashboard is covered in leather. Functions can be controlled both via the multimedia screen and by interacting with traditional buttons.

In the basic version, Nissan Dongfeng Z9 received a 2,0-liter turbo gasoline engine. The power of the power unit is 258 hp. A modern eight-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with this engine.


The second version of the Nissan Dongfeng Z9, which will be offered to buyers in the spring, is equipped with a turbodiesel engine. Its volume is 2,3 liters with a power of 190 hp. This option will suit those who plan to use the pickup more for work or in rural areas, away from paved roads. The diesel engine will be paired with the same 8-speed automatic transmission.

They promise a plug-in hybrid a little later, but there is no information about its power plant. The manufacturer stated that the car's power, and it will only be in the "top" version, will be 435 hp.

It is possible to expect that in the future Nissan Dongfeng Z9 will appear in Russia, and officially. After all, we already sell Oting Paladin pickups from the same manufacturer – Zhengzhou Nissan.
