Ideal landings of the Tu-204 – the plane is good, and the pilots did not let us down
The Tu-204 is one of the most beautiful airliners of our time. It appeared in the Soviet Union, towards the end of the 80s. The new aircraft was supposed to be an ideal, capable of taking on board about 200 passengers and flying at least 5 thousand kilometers with them. By the way, when creating the Soviet airliner, the designers were guided by the Airbus 310 and Boeing 757. It is not for nothing that these planes are so similar. Unfortunately, such a full-scale serial production of the Tu-204 did not happen as planned. First, the collapse of the USSR prevented this, and then Russian airlines preferred to buy foreign airliners.

It is worth noting that they are all ideal. And it is not entirely clear whose merit for this - the designers of the airliner, or its pilots. It seems, a little of both. By the way, 86 Tu-204 aircraft were produced in total. There is an opinion that they will continue to assemble them, but only for departmental organizations. But whether passengers will be able to fly on such airliners is a big question. It seems that this model will not appear in the ranks of civil aviation ...
