Wooden Train in the Jungle of Ecuador
The photo is not a homemade product or the fruit of an extreme sports enthusiast's creation who is going to travel in the jungle. What you see is an "ordinary" one (as the locals think). a train, which is going to arrive at point "B" from point "A". And we, too, are about to set off on a journey on this semblance of a railway Transport.
The main enthusiast, pointing at this "miracle of technology", claims that this is the most "perfect model" because it has a Toyota engine, released "very recently", in 2000. Moreover, the unit has to work every day, almost on a 24/7 schedule. The "locomotive" shown in the photo is not the only one: there are at least dozens of them! And they all make regular trips. And the passengers, as you can see for yourself by watching the video on the Juce Lugares channel, are just waiting for the "train" at the "station" just fine.
Here, the whole text can be put in quotation marks: it all seems so unreal. Nevertheless, together with the channel's host, we get on a train and head off to the jungle. By the way, it's only 4-5 hours away from the capital of Ecuador, Quito. It's not going to be a fun walk: the journey through the local thickets is dangerous - there are all sorts of poisonous creatures here, and more. If you want to take a risk, come with us!
