New details on the state of readiness of the Russian passenger liner "Ladoga"
Up-to-date information on the current stage of work on creating a new domestic Aircraft "Ladoga", shared the general director of the Samara aviation enterprise "Aviakor" Mr. Gusev. It is at this plant that the fuselage for the regional aircraft is being assembled today, and this task is among the priorities.
According to the company representative, the work process has entered the home stretch and the first body of the aircraft will be delivered in the first quarter of the coming year. Once ready, the fuselage will be delivered to Yekaterinburg. Other components necessary for the final assembly of the machine will also “flow” there, to the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, from different corners of our country.

For example, the tail unit will be delivered from Nizhny Novgorod, the wing boxes from Smolensk, and aircraft engines will arrive from the Northern capital. By the way, the first prototype of the TV7-117ST-02 power plant, with a capacity of 2400-2600 hp, has already begun bench testing.
The twin-engine turboprop aircraft for regional airlines is scheduled to be completed by autumn 2025, after which flight tests will begin. At least 800 flights are reportedly planned as part of the certification activities.

As a result, the new TVRS-44 will be able to replace the outdated Anas and Yaks on local routes. The first deliveries of the high-wing aircraft to customers are expected to begin in 2028.
Let us recall that the Ladoga is a twin-engine turboprop airliner developed by UZGA, designed to carry up to 44 passengers. It has the following dimensions:
✅ length - 22,8 m
✅ height - 8,3 m
✅ wingspan - 26 m
The maximum flight range with a full commercial load is about 1200 km. The maximum and cruising speed of the airliner is within 480 km/h and 460 km/h, respectively. Among the advantages is the ability to take off/land from unprepared sites and from runways whose length does not exceed 1,3 km.
