The Fast Loaf – Americans Love the Fast Loaf Too

You can be surprised for a long time, but you can't go against the facts: UAZ-452 sells well not only in Russia, but also abroad. And in America too. It is unclear why foreigners like the exterior, which is usually little touched, but the "insides", as a rule, are replaced. We are talking, first of all, about the power unit, in second place - the gearbox. Well, and, of course, the interior: there, at a minimum, they install more comfortable seats. And at most, as the Japanese do, they arrange houses on wheels.

But what about the Americans from the video? In the video from The Fast Lane Truck channel, fans of the Russian "loaf" in the USA replaced the standard engine with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 "eight", developing 270 "horses", with a volume of 4,8 liters. In conjunction with it, an automatic transmission GM 4L60E will work. Of the other elements related to the engine, they replaced the starter, radiator and fan: the last two are from a Ford Mustang.

The “native” tank was also not satisfactory for some reason: instead, they installed a container from a GMC Jimmy with a built-in fuel pump. The car from the Russian Federation even got an almost new name – The Fast Loaf, which means “Fast Loaf”.
