The World's First Intelligent Micro Home on Wheels – Grounded T1

It has become known that next spring, motorhome enthusiasts will be presented with another new product, which, judging by the declared characteristics, will become a kind of record holder. At least, the new camper is positioned as the world's first fully electric "smart home" on wheels.


This mini camper is called Ground T1 and is essentially a tractor with a trailer. Despite its compact size, the new product is designed for comfortable accommodation of two people, who will have access to almost all standard home amenities.


The new product is built on the Semi-Trike platform, which translates as "half-trike" and fully corresponds to its name. This is an electric three-wheeled bike with a single-axle trailer. It is distinguished by its rather compact dimensions – 305 cm in length and 290 cm in height. This allows it to be easily parked anywhere. At the same time, it has a fairly powerful engine, and its load capacity is almost 400 kg.

According to the manufacturer, the Semi-Trike is made from automotive and industrial grade parts, which guarantees excellent performance and durability. The model is also designed for ease of maintenance and repair.


The layout of the Grounded T1 microhome on wheels includes a mini-kitchen located at the rear of the trailer and an L-shaped living room at the front. The dining area is mobile and can be easily transformed into a double bedroom if necessary.
Standard features also include high-speed satellite internet and a clean water storage system. Additionally, potential buyers can take advantage of the optional extras, which include a dry flush toilet and an external shower. Each trailer size and interior details can also be selected.

Power for this camper bike is provided by a 750-watt supercharged motor with a torque of 529 Nm. It provides a maximum speed of 24 km/h. At the same time, you don’t have to worry about running out of charge. The Grounded T1 “smart” mobile home is equipped with a 500-watt solar battery. It is located on the roof of the trailer and helps recharge the 15 kWh battery on the go.

The range on a single charge is therefore estimated at more than 240 km. In addition, the same battery powers on-board devices such as an induction cooker, refrigerator and LED lights.


The van's total payload is 1460 pounds (about 660 kg), while Civilized's patented adjustable air suspension system provides a smooth ride regardless of the vehicle's load or terrain.

Grounded has already launched a pre-order system, with the first deliveries expected in spring 2025. However, it is difficult to predict the actual number of people willing to buy the new product, since the preliminary selling price for the basic model will be $30 (more than 000 million rubles). Agree, this is a lot, even for such an “advanced” electric bike.
