Russian drivers will be officially offered three new Hongqi models

The Chinese premium brand Hongqi will start selling three new models on the Russian market. The company representatives announced this officially, specifying the technical characteristics.


Dealers will receive it soon cars Hongqi HS7, H6 and L1. These are a crossover, liftback and sedan respectively. All models belong to at least the business class. Therefore, they will definitely not be offered cheaply in Russia. However, it is too early to guess – the prices have not been officially announced.

The Hongqi HS7 crossover will be the first to hit our country. This is a full-size model designed for 7 passengers. Accordingly, it has a three-row cabin. Thanks to the 2,92-meter wheelbase, even the back will be comfortable for adults, not just children.


The length, width and height of the car are 4,99 x 1,96 x 1,76 meters, respectively. As for technical aspects, the Hongqi HS7 crossover will be offered with both front and all-wheel drive. Only one engine is provided for Russia - with a volume of 2,0 liters. This is a turbocharged power unit that develops 245 hp. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

They promise that by the end of the second decade of 2025, sales of another model from Hongqi, the H6 liftback, will start in our country. It is created on the same chassis as the HS7 crossover, all dimensions, except for the height of the body, are similar.

Under the hood of Hongqi H6 there will be a 2,0-liter engine with no alternative. Its power is 245 hp. The liftback will only have a front-wheel drive. Apparently, the manufacturer decided that the model does not need a 4x4 wheel arrangement – ​​there are crossovers for that.

The latest to appear in Russia will be the luxury sedan Hongqi L1. This will be the flagship of the brand in our country. The model looks like Chinese government limousines, it will compete with German "classmates".

The dimensions of the Hongqi L1 are impressive. The length, width and height of the car are 5,35 x 1,99 x 1,51 meters. The wheelbase is 3,26 m. The latter hints that the two-row sedan will give its passengers space both in the front and in the back.


The engine, which will be the only alternative for the "Russian" Hongqi L1, is also interesting. This is a 6-liter turbo petrol V3,0, which is not typical for Chinese cars. The power of the power unit is 380 hp.

The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The drive is the only one - permanent all-wheel drive.

There is information that another Hongqi sedan, the H9 model, is going to be brought to Russia. But the brand's representatives have not officially confirmed this yet.
