2025 Nissan Murano Production Starts

Nissan has announced the launch of the new generation Murano crossover. They promise all the best that the Japanese brand has accumulated over the course of its existence. The model is intended primarily for the US market, and the cars will be assembled at a plant in Smyrna, Tennessee.


The design of the new Nissan Murano tried to embody modernity, technology, speed and sportiness. The result is a wide body with a lowered roof line, which gives car a feeling of power.

The front of the model is not overloaded with details. The designers clearly tried to reflect the spirit of minimalism, where the thin LED headlights fit organically. The daytime running lights are camouflaged as a radiator grille and are located at its edges.


The doors of the Nissan Murano have stylish stampings at the bottom. The rear of the car is made in the same style of sporty minimalism. It has a short overhang, which should clearly have a positive effect on cross-country ability. Although, one look at the Nissan Murano is enough to understand that this is a crossover rather for urban and highway use.

The Japanese played the exhaust system interestingly. Instead of making four pipes, two on each side, they hid them completely. It looks like they wanted to disguise the car as an electric car, although it is a 100% gasoline model.

The Nissan Murano interior is stylish, sporty and minimalistic at the same time. But at the same time, the quality and softness of the finishing materials are pleasing. The manufacturer promises a "homey" tactile sensation and comfort in the interior.

The crossover's options are controlled by touch and physical buttons. This is how Nissan engineers and designers decided to gently accustom customers to the transition to a "new level". After all, many people refuse modern cars only because they cannot find the usual buttons in them.


The Murano's interior is spacious, with room for a driver and four passengers. The rear doors open wider than the previous generation, making it easier to get in and out.

Under the hood of the crossover there is only one engine without alternative. This is a turbo petrol power unit with a volume of 2,0 liters and a capacity of 214 hp. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It can be controlled using the steering column switches.

The start of sales of Nissan Murano is scheduled for the beginning of 2025. There are no more precise figures yet, as well as prices. The cost is promised to be announced a little later.
