Mountain roads of China: try to drive!

When we talk about a mountain road, we immediately imagine a narrow serpentine: one wrong move of the steering wheel, and here it is – a bottomless abyss. But it turns out that there are other roads in China that also pass at a height. Although they are safer, you can’t call driving on them comfortable.

Just look at the video: the entire way up consists of countless turns along a narrow road. A commercial truck barely fits between the “walls-guards” (I don’t even know what to call these barriers). And if a large truck? By the way: it’s unclear how trucks with semi-trailers get through here – they probably don’t come here at all.

Now imagine that where you need to go, there are no highways at all. But there is a railway. Great – no problem: that means we’ll go along it. On the car? That's right: just swap the wheels and off you go! All you need is a lift you carry with you and the efforts of a couple of people. We lift the truck standing across the rails, then turn it around and slowly lower it. And if you attach a platform to the back, the resulting "road train" will carry much more than on a highway. And on the Tekniq channel you will also see how an old ship is dismantled ... with a forklift. Join us in watching!
