There is a widespread opinion among many experienced car owners: they say that cars used to be made better, they were more reliable. To test this, the author of the video, Anton Vorotnikov, on the channel of the same name, decided to test the “grandfather” and “granddaughter”: two Audi models - the modern RS6 (2021) and the station wagon from the 1995 S6 of the same brand.

Both cars have permanent all-wheel drive. According to the technical parameters, the “old woman” naturally loses: 230 “horses” against 600. But in terms of potential, the engine of the 90s is in a clear plus. Why the old motor has a profitable and promising configuration, which is still used all over the world, what it is connected with, Anton tells in detail.

But it's not just about motors. On the Audi S6, the noise insulation is no worse than on the RS6, the comfort of the suspensions is also comparable, especially in terms of smoothness, where the difference is not felt. Of course, contemporary has many advantages. Anton Vorotnikov analyzes the car in detail "by the bones", comparing not only the technical part, but also the interior and ergonomics. And the machines in many respects have parity. And what, you can find out from the video.
