Renault Magnum is the most popular long-haul truck in Europe

When some legendary car becomes history, is always a little sad. However, its advantages and technical innovations remain in the memory. One of these can safely be called the French truck Renault Magnum.

For two decades, Renault designers have been working hard to create a completely new image of their car. They did it great! The result was the Renault Magnum. This happened in 1990.

Since then, a successful design has gone through four modifications over a nearly quarter-century history. The second and fourth generations of the truck received a new cab design, and the third and fourth received a radical engine upgrade.

The start of the car's popularity occurred almost immediately after the presentation to the general public. The unique design earned it the nickname "aquarium". Having managed to surprise world fans of automotive technology, the French have ensured interest in their model for a long time.

Perhaps this was the first time in the history of truck design when the cab consisted of two parts. Its lower compartment is a motor compartment, separated from the upper part - the driver's working area. The four-point suspension ensured minimum vibration and maximum comfort during the movement of the road train.
