Lada Auras Arrive at the Disposition of Russian Officials – They Are Not Too Happy
The AvtoVAZ company has already managed to send the first batch of Lada Aura to customers. As promised, they were government officials, because the cars are supposed to replenish departmental garages. But they have to switch to new ones cars High-ranking civil servants are in no hurry.
As it turned out, despite the fact that Lada Aura is the most luxurious model in the brand's lineup, it still falls short of foreign cars in terms of comfort. First of all, officials complain about the lack of separate climate control and rear air ducts.
Lada Aura is considered a domestic car, and Russian companies can only please with air conditioners so far. But the latter are designed primarily for the front row. Air flows reach the rear passengers with a delay. This negatively affects comfort. For example, in hot weather, passengers feel stuffy, and in subzero weather - cold.
Of course, this problem is incomprehensible to most Russian drivers. Even owners of new budget cars are happy with simple air conditioners. And none of their passengers complain about the lack of comfort at any time of year. But officials seem to have gotten used to full-fledged premium.
The second disadvantage of the Lada Aura, because of which people do not want to change to it, is the problems with parking. And it is not that the dimensions of the Russian car are more impressive than those of the Vesta. After all, foreign cars are often wider. It is just that the elongated rear door makes it difficult to open it in crowded parking lots.
Despite the fact that the Lada Aura is declared a D-class car, it does not have a sunroof or a panoramic roof. And the backrests of the rear seats are not adjustable.
However, the latter should be corrected, because soon they promise "top" versions of Lada Aura, and there are already separate "captain's" chairs in the second row. But even in the most expensive versions, the armrest between the seats is short, there is only one USB charger, and there is no folding table for work at all.
As for the engine, the volume of which is clearly too small for a D-class car, Russian officials have not yet commented on this matter. Apparently, they understand that there is nothing to replace it with anyway.
But the manufacturer is capable of adding options to the car and making it more comfortable. It looks like AvtoVAZ will have to take into account the wishes of such customers. And respond to all comments promptly.
By the way, the manufacturer plans to produce about 2024 Lada Aura cars by the end of 200.
