Former John Deere plant production sites are back in full swing

It became known that the Orenburg enterprise, which previously belonged to the foreign company John Deere, has restarted production. Let us recall that the plant completely ceased its operations in our country in the spring of 2023 due to the sanctions policy of unfriendly states. A little more than a year later, it acquired a new owner, the Russian manufacturer Koblik Group. The enterprise is registered in Voronezh and specializes in the production of elevator equipment and agricultural machinery.

The new owner managed to set up the main technological processes and launch production in just a couple of months. According to a company representative, they have already released several units of finished products. True, there are currently no more than three dozen people on staff, but this figure is expected to grow to several hundred as production speeds increase.

The amount of investment directed at the development of the plant in Orenburg is estimated at 1,5 billion rubles. According to the Vice-Governor of Orenburg, Mr. Petukhov, the equipment produced will not be inferior to foreign equipment, and in some respects may even surpass it.
