Why Vesta Has Become More Expensive – AvtoVAZ Answers

The price tag for the Lada model line continues to grow. For example, the minimum cost of the Vesta has grown by a little more than 700 thousand rubles since 2015. And this can hardly be called an insignificant increase in cost.

Now the "people's" sedan costs 1,24 million rubles in the minimum configuration. However, even for this money you still have to try to find it "in stock".

Of course, at the end of the summer, the Russian automaker launched production and equipment of improved configurations of the popular sedan. They were the first to feature Russian ESC, and safety and convenience were increased.

The top configuration now boasts heated seats, a camera with markings to help the parking sensors. The sedan has heated windshield washer nozzles and a rain sensor. On the other hand, the expansion of the trim levels, of course, affected the maximum cost of the Vesta, but what does the "empty" basic configuration have to do with it?

On this matter, the head of the Lada press service left a comment:

Inflation has not been cancelled. Prices are rising everywhere – in the housing market, fuel, airline tickets. Cars were no exception.

Thus, Sergey Ilyinsky notes that the increase in the initial price tag of Vesta does not exceed the average change in prices for other product groups. However, this does not make things any easier for "ordinary" car enthusiasts.

To be fair, it should be noted that not only domestic brands have become more expensive. For example, the rather popular Chinese Haval Jolion cost 2022 million in 1,2, and now almost 2 rubles.
