The salon of the serial Haval Cool Dog differs from the prototype – the first photos

Chinese company Haval has shown photos of the interior of its pre-production Cool Dog crossover. Fans of the brand are a little disappointed – car not as bright and stylish as the X Dog concept was.


Although the new model is not officially presented even in China, local drivers are looking forward to the debut. Since the appearance of the concept a year ago, many questions have remained hanging in the air. For example, will Haval Cool Dog completely copy the prototype crossover, or will it be significantly changed?

Recently, photos appeared on the network revealing the interior design of the model. They show that inside the car does not have a bright appearance, and the most interesting thing that it has is a touchscreen with a diameter of 12,3 inches.



The second photo shows that the screen costs more and is integrated into the dashboard. It is not yet clear whether these are basic and premium versions, or simply the manufacturer has not decided on a touchscreen.

Otherwise, the interior has not changed, although fans of the brand still hope that the production model inside will receive bright inserts to match the body color.

The manufacturer continues to keep the intrigue and does not announce when the Haval Cool Dog crossover will debut. But judging by the photos, there is not much left. Usually such events are prepared for the next car show. The next one will take place in April in Beijing, maybe then Haval Cool Dog will be presented officially.



The buyer, most likely, cars will be offered with thresholds made of matte plastic, which is optionally painted. The roof is also promised to be made to order with a contrasting one - white or black.

The Haval Cool Dog is smaller than the Dargo and Big Dog models, but it turned out to be heavier than the latter. Despite its aggressive appearance, this is a typical urban crossover. With entry and exit angles of 21 and 25 degrees, respectively, it’s definitely not worth looking for dirt specifically.



Under the hood of the car, according to current information, a gasoline turbo engine with a displacement of 1,5 liters is expected, developing 184 hp. With. The maximum speed is in the region of 175-180 km / h.



Chinese media claims that the implementation of Haval Cool Dog will begin in the summer of 2022.
