Passability of Soviet trucks in deep snow

Two brands – three legends of the Soviet automobile industry: ZIL-131 in stock configuration, the same military GAZ-66 and another civilian “sixty-sixth” with an engine from the “Bychok”. Trucks will compete in cross-country ability in deep snow. It is difficult to predict the result - the cars have been known for a long time and many know how they deftly overcome off-road conditions.

The competition consists of several stages, the first of which is a race on a snowy field with not very deep snow (just a little below the knee). However, this is not a particularly difficult test and the author of the video on the “Don't Brake Channel!” drives cars into snowdrifts, and then into the forest. The participants in the race take turns taking the lead.

Meanwhile, under the snow cars "Waiting" are potholes and ruts, but Soviet trucks confidently overcome them. It is not even clear how the thawed puddles on the road are not an obstacle. During the competition, drivers use various driving techniques, trying to overcome deep snow.
