Subaru introduced the first electric crossover Solterra
The company's press service reported that from today the new Subaru Solterra model is available for pre-order for buyers in the United States. Some details have become known car and its characteristics. The car is designed in an unusual way, according to the developers, this design concept will be used in the coming years for other modifications.
The engineers emphasized that the novelty will retain the traditional Subaru cross-country ability thanks to the all-wheel drive system, energy-efficient suspension and high ground clearance. Also, the car will provide a comfortable location for all passengers, so it can be used as an everyday family car.
It is known that buyers will be offered three configuration options. Even in the basic version, there are many features that make it stand out from the crowd. The EyeSight system, developed by Subaru engineers, monitors all obstacles that arise in the direction of travel. Also worth highlighting are LED headlights and taillights, blind spot monitoring and automatic climate control. In addition, the package includes numerous safety and assistance systems for comfortable driving and preventing accidents.

The improved version has a number of additions - heating of all seats, an electronic rear-view mirror with auto-dimming, a voice assistant and navigation through the "cloud" service. Also included are a premium sound system, branded water-repellent seat upholstery, a power driver's seat and a heated steering wheel. As for the outside, the tailgate has power adjustments, 20-inch wheels and fog lights. To improve the appearance, roof rails and an original spoiler were used.
