The traffic police came up with a new way to search for drunk drivers

Representatives of the capital's traffic police carried out the "Report a drunk driver" operation, visited gas stations and roadside food outlets. As part of the conversation, employees were given leaflets and told where to go if the driver has obvious signs of intoxication.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and social responsibility. Everyone should understand that a drunk driver is a threat to other road users. A well-timed call can save someone's life.

Appeals to pedestrians with a similar request were placed in the city. Employees hope that this will increase the effectiveness of detecting drunk drivers. In January, more than 2000 drunk drivers were detained in Moscow. 100 of them are caught a second time.

Despite large fines and criminal liability for repeated violations, the statistics are not improving.

I agree with everything, but here's the dilemma - half drunk behind the wheel, obviously or covertly, but with epaulettes, power and grandmas. By this they make it clear that they stand above both people and the law. Unfortunately, it has not been ordered to cut heads in the squares for a long time, but if such people are deprived of the right to work in the authorities, and later this ban will apply to the next of kin, our country can succeed. And yes, I am for such "squealing" if the result is saving someone's life!
