The 2025 Nissan Murano is almost ready to go on sale.

Apparently, the Japanese company Nissan will soon delight fans with the long-awaited new generation of Nissan Murano. The second generation was first introduced more than 10 years ago and became quite boring, becoming the reason why many refused to buy this crossover.


However, everything will soon change, as indicated by the increased testing of the updated Murano on the roads of Michigan, USA. Although car almost completely hidden under camouflage for the purpose of disguise, it is known that the design of the new product is borrowed from the Ariya and Kicks models.


The radiator grille “leaked” through the camouflage coating, which transformed from the old and familiar V-Motion shape into horizontal slats. The latter, probably, as in the Kicks model, will smoothly “flow” into vertical LED headlights.

A wide air intake is noticeable at the bottom, just like on the current generation. The camouflage did not prevent us from considering the fact that the crossover received a streamlined body geometry and a pronounced shoulder line. The doors have original shaped side mirrors.

No less serious changes are observed in the rear part of the body. Thus, the recess for the license plate has moved from the trunk door to the bumper. The model also gets thinner taillights and new low-mounted reflectors.

The update has affected not only the exterior design, but also the interior. The interior will feature a large touchscreen display located separately from the digital instrument panel on the console. Most likely, the infotainment system supports Google's voice assistant.

In addition to the new displays, the interior of the new crossover features Ariya-style air vents and a large volume control knob. We can also notice highlighted climate controls and contrast stitching on the center console.


Nissan does not talk about detailed technical characteristics of the updated crossover. At the same time, there is reason to believe that the city SUV is based on the latest version of the D platform. A similar base is used for the Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60.
