Until 2011, outdated starters were installed on cars; in frost over -30 degrees, they could refuse to turn the crankshaft. The battery was regularly discharged, the wiring was heated, and the terminals were melting. For those who have a harsh winter, we can advise replacing the starter with a geared one.
