Naon Zero-One - electric scooter for the city will go on sale in the summer

The press service of the German company Naon, which is developing electric Transport for cities, presented a new product – the Zero-One model. It stands out with its innovative design and a number of technical solutions, which, according to the management, will make the scooter a bestseller among European buyers.


The developers noted that the main goal was to create not only a reliable, but also a memorable design. Today, most of the new products are made in the Vespa style, but not everyone likes the classic layout. Zero-One will appeal to those who are accustomed to stand out and appreciate the appearance as much as the technical characteristics.

The Zero-One silhouette draws attention with a contour with smoothed corners and well-thought-out proportions of all elements. The seat of the original form, hanging over the rear axle is the highlight of the model. The open swingarm gives the scooter a futuristic touch, while the flat solid footrest for rider and passenger not only creates a straight line with the swingarm, but is also comfortable.



The transparent front fascia, under which the headlight is located, looks unusual. Small fenders at the back and front protect against splashes when riding in the rain.

An interesting solution is to transfer the batteries from the space under the seat to the driver's feet. The lining of the footrest is removed and access to the batteries is provided. Two batteries can be installed, which gives a range of 140 km. And the space under the seat is used for luggage. Due to the specific shape of the scooter, there is little storage space, but enough for hand luggage.

The power of the rear hub motor is 7 kW, peak performance reaches 10 kW. The speed of the L3e version is 100 km/h. To fit into European requirements, a modification of the L1e is produced, which can accelerate to no more than 45 km / h.



The price of a productive electric scooter is 6420 euros, and the limited option will cost 4920. But this is the cost without batteries. You can either buy them for 1000 or rent them with a monthly fee of 25 euros per month. As planned by the manufacturer, this will save on the purchase and provide greater interest in the new product.
