New Baleno with head-up display to go on sale February 10

Official representatives of the Indian company Maruti Suzuki, which is a branch of the famous Japanese concern, announced the acceptance of orders for a new generation model of the Baleno hatchback. At the same time, detailed data on the technical parameters of the novelty were not published - only approximate characteristics can be found.




Baleno is equipped with an engine from the Dual VVT line, information about which is not yet available (volume and power are unknown). In any case, the power plant will comply with Euro 6 standards. The exterior differs from previous models with more stylish bumpers, new optics (LEDs installed), corrected air intakes and a different tailgate. There are four body color options. The radiator grille and other elements have also undergone changes.



But the pride of the car company is the projection display: it is installed for the first time on a car of this brand. The car has improved interior trim, the multimedia system with a built-in SIM card supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay. There is climate control, automatic light (switching from high to low beam and vice versa), a panoramic sunroof, and many other options. The manufacturers also equipped car six airbags. The car is equipped with a more durable chassis, it has ABS and EBD systems. It is worth noting: the Indians hope to get at least four stars after the crash test.





The popularity of previous versions of the hatchback produced in India is also due to its size. Cars less than four meters in length are subject to tax relief under local law. Baleno is produced at a car factory in the city of Gujarat. Sales are scheduled to start on February 10 this year.
