GAZ-34039 - a successful model of a snow and swamp vehicle for the north and taiga

In many regions, use standard trucks impossible and basic transport are caterpillar all-terrain vehicles. In Nizhny Novgorod, more than one generation of equipment has been developed. It is manufactured and modified by the Zavolzhsky Plant of Caterpillar Tractors.

For the first time, the creation of an all-terrain vehicle at GAZ was started in the 50s of the last century. GAZ-34039 became the third production model, the main advantage of which is the diesel engine produced at the Minsk Motor Plant. Thanks to him, driving performance has improved and the maximum speed has increased.

The sealed monocoque body has remained virtually unchanged for three decades. The lever controls are similar tractors or tanks. The floating hull allows the all-terrain vehicle to stay afloat and move by rewinding its tracks.
